Three Things Thursday

It's been a while since I've done a Three Things Thursday post, so I thought I'd share one today. These 3 things have nothing in common, aside from the fact that I am excited about them and want to share them with you!

1. Marshall's- Y'all, have you been to Marshall's lately? I don't think I had been since I was with my mom and in high school. I saw where a blogger shared a cute Free People sweater that she got for $35 from Marshall's, so I decided I needed to check it out the other day (and of course it happened to be when I was on my way home from Walmart and in my exercise clothes).

Immediately after walking in the door and straight into the shoe section, I began questioning my decision to not come here frequently. I stumbled upon Jack Rogers booties, Sam Edelman booties, Lucky Brand booties, Frye boots, Ugg boots, and the list goes on and on.

Of course I had to purchase these highly discounted Jack Rogers booties. Click here for the suede version on the Jack Rogers website. Or check out your Marshall's to see if they have them for under $60, which is what I paid for these!

I saw those Lucky Brand mules in the background and couldn't believe my eyes. Those are basically the same shoes I've been wearing nonstop. Click here to see the limited sizes left at Nordstrom. I also saw the cute pair of Lucky Brand booties that I'm holding and wanted them too.

These Ugg boots were not cheap, but they were way marked down. And I've been on the lookout for boots with a heel that are still comfortable. I can't imagine anyone making a more comfortable boot with a heel than Ugg.

After close to 6 hours in the shoe section (just kidding, but it really was a long time), I made it to the women's clothes section and discovered brands like Free People, French Connection, and Michael Kors. I tried on 5 items. I got 2 for me (the first 2 pictured below), 1 for my mom/sister (the 3rd item pictured below), and wanted the other 2 but had to cut myself off somewhere. All this to say, if you haven't been to Marshall's lately and you're ready to find some bargain steals, you should totally check it out!

Free People Turtleneck- This is the reason I came into Marshall's, and they just so happened to have 1 in the entire store, and it was a size medium. Of course I had to get it. It's actually marked down at Nordstrom right now too. Click here and her…

2. Oui Yogurt- One of the most well-known bloggers named Rachel Parcell (Pink Peonies) hosted a brunch with Oui yogurt, and the pictures were so insanely gorgeous that I had to test out the yogurt. (Click here to see her post showing the most beautiful brunch ever.)

FullSizeRender 35.jpg

Anyway, I tried the yogurt, and I'm here to tell you that it is AMAZING. If you are a big calorie counter, don't even glance at it. However, if you like to treat yourself every once in a while, try a pretty little glass jar of this yogurt. I have only ever tried vanilla, and it is so good that I haven't quite picked up any other flavors just yet. I am honestly not even a big yogurt eater, but when I treat myself to this delicious yogurt, it is worth every single calorie. It is SO delicious.

3. Bootie liners- Have y'all heard of these? My mom taught me about them last year, and I was so excited about this little invention. Since bootie season is upon us, I thought I'd share today. These little things basically function as socks for your booties. Or flats for that matter. They stay hidden, even in your lowest cut shoes! And the soft gripper you can see on my black pair keeps them securely in place (my black ones are inside out so I could show you what the gripper looks like). These make booties and flats much more comfortable! Click here for another option of bootie liners.

That's all for today! Thanks so much for reading! Have a wonderful Thursday!

Wednesday Wishlist: Fall Edition

There are so many beautiful fall items on the web right now that I WANT! So instead of doing a Wednesday Wishlist with a specific retailer this week, I have rounded up my favorite items for fall across the web!

IMG_76FCF2F43FC9-1.jpeg

From left to right: Pink Slouchy Tunic // Bow Mules // Platform Wedges // Ankle Strap Sandals // Bright Plum Tiewaist Topcoat // Blue Mockneck Dress // Blush Hailey Dress // Ruffle Cardigan // Ruffle Sleeve Dress // Turtleneck Tunic // Ruffled Hem V-neck Tee // Pompom Cable Sweater // Ruffled Cowl Neck Pullover // Ruffled Pocket Skirt

Pink Slouchy Tunic- The price of this tunic is a little high, but oh my goodness gracious, I LOVE IT!

Bow Mules- I have tried to buy this pair of shoes in grey and fuchsia several times, but they sold out in my size in both colors. I am still waiting for someone to return a pair, so I can buy them. But they do come in other colors too. I feel like these would be my fall uniform shoe. If you order them, I have heard you need to size up half a size.

Platform Wedges- These are always on my wishlist! I think they would work for the majority of the year. One day I will own these!

Ankle Strap Sandals- These look like such a great basic that would go with everything and be a classic pair of shoes you have in your closet forever.

Bright Plum Tiewaist Topcoat- I mean this is a wishlist, so I can include items that I am wishful for, even if they are way far out of my budget, right?? Obsessed doesn't even cover it with this coat.

Blue Mockneck Dress- This is one of those dresses that you would be so glad to have in your closet. So classic, but also so many great details.

Blush Hailey Dress- This dress comes in several different colors and is only $46. I have tried to purchase it in navy and olive, and it has sold out of my cart. :( If they have it in the size and color you like, I suggest you purchase as soon as possible. So many fashion bloggers have posted about it, so I feel certain it will be a fabulous purchase.

Ruffle Cardigan- This is another piece I have seen several fashion bloggers wearing, and I love it!

Ruffle Sleeve Dress- I obviously already own this dress, but I put it on my wishlist because I want it in gray and olive as well. Under $40, so comfortable, ruffle sleeves, and pockets?? It's just so great!

IMG_5556.jpg

Turtleneck Tunic- The model has this on with jeans, but I would pair it with leggings and boots. Need this.

Ruffled Hem V-neck Tee- I always love ruffles, and I think the ruffles on this tee make a basic tee more fun! This would be a great layering piece to wear now and later.

Pompom Cable Sweater- So pompoms were a huge trend for spring and summer, and now there is a fall piece with them! Love this!

Ruffled Cowl Neck Pullover- I absolutely must have this.

Ruffled Pocket Skirt- Another ruffle piece? Maybe I should branch out, but I just love all the ruffle things! Cutest skirt I've ever seen!

Fall Dresses for Under $50

I am so excited about wearing my new fall clothes, but I just look silly trying to pull off some of my new pieces in 80+ degree temps. However, all of the dresses I am sharing with you today are perfect to wear now and later on into fall!

Ruffle Sleeve Dress- I picked this up during Nordstrom's big sale, and it kept selling out over and over again. However, it is back on Nordstrom's website in pink, gray, and olive, and it is fully stocked in all sizes! I highly suggest this one. I have already worn mine several times and am seriously considering getting at least one more color. Booties (mine are from last year, I linked the most similar pair I could find), also similar // Crossbody Bag

IMG_5556.jpg

Yellow Swing Dress-I actually got this exact dress last year, but it did so well last year that they brought it back this year in different colors. Click here for the floral version of this dress. Boots // Tote

IMG_5568.jpg

Flute Sleeve Shift Dress- This is one of those dresses that I know will be in my closet forever. It's a classic black dress made a little more fun by the sleeves! Scarf // Shoes

IMG_5151.jpg

Plaid Shirt Dress- Got this in 2 colors because plaid dresses are so easy to throw on and go with a pair of boots or booties in the fall. Booties // Earrings

IMG_5427.JPG

Plaid Shirt Dress 2- I also got this one!

IMG_4510.jpg

Cheetah Minidress- Love the style and print of this dress! The ruffles are so cute. ShoesSimilar

Printed Minidress- Same style, different print!

How to Prepare your Home for Guests

Parker and I had our second visitors come stay with us in Southaven this weekend, and we had the very best time with them! I have always been an organized, plan ahead type of person, so I wanted to share some of the tips I used to prepare our home for guests.

1. Buy fresh flowers to add some happiness to your home!

IMG_5441.jpg

2. Wash the sheets and towels your visitors will use in Glamorous Wash: Diva. BEST. SMELLING. DETERGENT. EVER. I know I have talked about this stuff several times, but I think everyone should try it at least once! It is amazing!

Another tip might be to close your guest bedroom door, so your dogs don't make themselves comfy in the guest bedroom bed before your visitors arrive. However, I obviously did not abide by that one.

Another tip might be to close your guest bedroom door, so your dogs don't make themselves comfy in the guest bedroom bed before your visitors arrive. However, I obviously did not abide by that one.

3. Clean your house. I used this as a time to really deep clean. I don't clean the guest bedroom and bathroom as much as I clean the rest of the house because we rarely ever go in those rooms. So I made a checklist and made sure to get those rooms extra clean, in addition to cleaning the rest of the house.

IMG_5445.jpg

4. Provide your guests with your Wifi username and password. I have a piece of paper with this info written on it located in a basket in the guest bedroom. In this day and age, everyone needs to know that info, and it is much more polite to have that info ready for your guests, instead of making them ask for it. It also makes it so much easier on you to have it ready for them, so that you don't have to search for the piece of paper that has all the weird numbers and letters written on it.

5. Have lots of snacks and drinks ready! I made my friend Prissy's snack mix and Cowboy Caviar the day before our visitors came. I popped some cookies in the oven the day they came, and Parker picked up a chicken nugget platter from Chickfila. When it's all sitting out for everybody, they can pick and choose what and when they want to eat. And then continue to snack on the leftovers throughout the day.

FullSizeRender 32.jpg

Our guests were Parker's sister, our 2 nieces, and a friend (who was sweet enough to take the photo below), and we could not have had a better time with them! If you invite people as amazing as this crew to your house, then you will have 0 work to do when they leave because they somehow leave the house cleaner than they found it.

Andddddd, you will end the weekend happy and exhausted due to the amount of fun that was had.

I know I am missing some tips. What are some things you do to prepare your home for guests? Thanks so much for reading! Have a great Monday!

Target Dresses

Y'all, have you seen the Who What Wear collection at Target? Or A New Day collection? One of my new blogger friends @cappyandlee posted a picture in one of these dresses the other day, and I knew I had to get to Target ASAP.

Cheetah Mini Dress- If you are an animal print lover, this dress is just simply a must have!

IMG_5363.jpg

Printed Mini Dress- This also comes in black if these colors aren't your thing. The ruffles, neckline, and style of this dress are so cute!

IMG_5365.jpg

Magenta Short Sleeve Dress- The color and style of this dress drew me in. Then I found another beautiful surprise in the fitting room- it has gold buttons on the back! So cute!

If you haven't checked out Target's Who What Wear collection and A New Day collection, click on those words in Italics and get researching!! Those are both clothing lines, but my favorite line they have is a jewelry line called Sugarfix by BaubleBar. You just can't find cuter jewelry for the prices they offer!

Do you have any plans this weekend? My sister in law + 2 nieces + a friend are coming in town, and we are ECSTATIC for visitors!!! It gave me an excuse to buy some big, bright sunflowers. I always love an excuse to buy flowers. Anyway, thanks so much for reading! Have a wonderful weekend!

Fall Basics: Shoes

The past couple of days I have talked about basic fall tops and cardigans and basic fall bottoms. So it only makes sense to talk about basic fall shoes today. Shoes are always a little more of an investment than tops and bottoms, but they are one of those items that you will get so much use out of if you buy a high quality shoe that you love.

Riding Boots

IMG_5232.JPG

Jack Rogers Boots (the first pair in the picture above)- These are my newest pair of shoes that my mom got for me, and the pair of shoes I will be wearing all fall and winter. I adore them! Go up half a size.

Sam Edelman Boots-Sam Edelman is another brand of shoes that is always amazing. I have these boots in black and brown and have worn them countless times over the past couple of years. They are currently 10% off at Nordstrom and a phenomenal shoe you will get your money's worth out of for sure.

IMG_5234.JPG

Tory Burch Riding Boots- I have gotten 2 pairs of these as Christmas gifts over the years and you can never go wrong with a pair of Tory Burch boots. She changes them up a little bit each year, so I have linked this year's style of riding boots that she released recently. The price is a little steeper than I usually spend, but the quality is always phenomenal. When you purchase these, you know they will be boots that last you a lifetime.

IMG_5233.JPG

Booties

Jack Rogers Booties- These are the booties I am most excited about wearing this fall! I LOVE the scalloped edges and color. You will see me wearing these constantly. I also adore these.

IMG_5238.JPG

Steve Madden Cutout Booties- My exact Steve Madden booties are from the past couple of years, so the ones I have linked are this year's version. I own 3 pairs of Steve Madden booties and think you can do no wrong with any Steve Madden booties. They are always so comfortable and fabulous.

IMG_5237.JPG

Steve Madden Kyle Booties- These are the most similar pair I could find to the 2 that I own in black and grey. These are the perfect pair of everyday booties to have in your closet.

Pearl Booties- Pearl embellished everything is so on trend for fall, and y'all have to check these out. I do not own these, but I certainly want to.

White Leather Booties- I wanted to include these in today's post because they were all over the place during New York Fashion Week. They looked fabulous on so many girls, but they don't look like something I could pull off.

Mules

IMG_5239.JPG

Grey Lucky Brand Mules- I got these in the spring and I have worn them constantly since then. I think they are also the perfect pair of shoes to wear into fall. My exact ones are 50% off and almost sold out, but click here to see some really similar ones in other colors.

Marc Fisher Mules- I got these in the spring too, and they are also almost sold out. I think mules are the most season-appropriate shoe for us southerners to wear as we transition into fall. Click here to find a few more sizes.

BP Mules- These are #1 on my wishlist right now! I don't own them yet, but I certainly plan on making the purchase soon!

Rainboots

IMG_5235.JPG

Hunter Rain Boots- Before I went to the Arkansas Auburn game in Fayetteville a couple years ago, my mom bought me these beauties. The forecast showed a 100% chance of rain, and then it ended up not raining. Regardless, I wore these boots and have loved them ever since. I love the glossy ones, but if thats not your thing, they also have matte ones.

Jack Rogers Rain Boots- I got these in the spring and am so excited to wear these soon! They come in several different color ways. I got black, but I also really like all of the other ones. I usually wear a 9 and went with an 8 in these, so go down a full size.

Uggs

IMG_5236.JPG

Slippers- I live in these. I wear them every single day and think everyone needs a pair.

Boots- I haven't worn these in a while, but I'm excited to pull them back out for when the temperature drops.

Do you have any shoes for fall that you are excited about? I haven't bought any new pairs recently, and I currently have my eye on 2 pairs- these mules in grey and fuschia and these wedges in all the colors.

SHOP THE POST:

Fall Basics: Bottoms

Yesterday I shared Fall Basics: Tops and Cardigans. Today I'm sharing my favorite bottoms for fall. Tomorrow I'll be back sharing my favorite shoes for fall! Some of these I bought last year. Most of these I bought over the last couple of months. All of these, I can't suggest enough!

The Best Bottoms for Fall

Zella Live In High Waist Leggings- I know I have talked about these several times, but I just discovered them this year during the N Sale when every single fashion blogger in the world said these were the #1 must buy item. And I'm here to tell you that they are fabulous, and I believe everyone needs them in their life. They are so comfortable, but they also suck you in. They are the perfect pair of leggings that you will reach for time and time again.

Tunic (go down 1 size) // Leggings // Slippers

Tunic (go down 1 size) // Leggings // Slippers

BP Moto Leggings- These are a little edgier than things that I typically wear, but I love them and have gotten so many compliments on them. People always think they are pants, but they are actually the most comfortable high waisted leggings!

IMG_2507.jpg

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings- I can't say I own too many faux leather pieces, but like the Zella leggings, every blogger was talking about these during the N Sale, so I took their word for it and purchased them. Turns out these girls know what they are talking about! These are amazing. And of course very flattering because they are #spanx!

BP Classic Black Leggings- These are just a simple, yet classic pair of black leggings for $19.

IMG_5192.jpg

Rockstar Jeggings- I discovered these last year and now have them in black, light blue, dark blue, regular blue, gray, navy blue, and white.. They are jeggings, but they look exactly like regular jeans minus the waistband. So comfortable and cute! Plus, the price is another perk. The ones with built-in sculpt are $44.99. And most of the regular ones are $34.99. When I see a built-in sculpt option at Old Navy, I always choose that pair. Worth the 10 extra bucks to me! My mom and I do size up one size in these because they run a little small. However, Old Navy recently came out with Rockstar 24/7 jeggings that are a different material and they run true to size. I honestly like the regular ones better though. I have a whole post dedicated to these jeans because they are so fabulous- click here to check it out!

I am clearly a fan of all the high waisted bottoms that suck you in. Although this sweet little girl of mine doesn't mind letting her cute little rolls hang out for all to see.

Which are your favorite? I love them all, but I think I get the most wear out of my Zella leggings. I'm going to have to order more of them because I live in my one pair. Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!

Fall Basics: Tops and Cardigans

Today I am sharing my favorite tops and cardigans for fall. I'll be back tomorrow sharing my favorite bottoms and shoes for fall, although you will be getting a sneak peak of several of these items today. The items that I have been happiest to purchase for fall have been basic pieces that I know I will get my money's worth out of.

I know I will be able to layer basic tees and tunics all fall and winter long. I also know I can use cardigans all year long- even in the summer, I always keep one in my car for when I go grocery shopping or into restaurants. After being in the sweltering heat, it is so miserable to go inside and freeze. So the pieces I'm sharing today are some of my most used items in my closet.

Also, I'm going to go ahead and apologize for the crazy lighting. I used Parker's phone because I thought his camera was better than mine. I don't know if it was his phone, the time of day I was taking these pictures, or what, but there is some weird lighting going on.

Basic Tops

Long Sleeve Tunics- I have 9 of these. Enough said? They are my uniform. Throwing one of these on with leggings or jeans and boots makes for the easiest and most comfortable outfit. They are $22.99 and obviously a favorite of mine. If you count, you will actually see 7, but that is because I have 2 of the black and white stripes and 2 of the gray and white stripes. :) Mine are all from last year, but they do have more colors this year, so I might just need to go ahead and order the solid black to bring my collection to an even 10. In the last 2 pictures, I actually sized up one size, making the tunic look more like a dress.

Outfit Details: Tunic // Leggings // Boots // Earrings

Perfect Roll Tab Sleeve Tunics- This top has been my newest obsession. I have it in black and white, and I wish I had 10 of them. It is a little more dressy than the tunic I posted above, but it is still only $27.90. It is super comfortable and the perfect length. The white is a little sheer and requires a camisole to be worn underneath it, but none of the other colors are sheer. Because it's on sale, it has been selling out. I'm seriously considering grabbing the other available colors before its completely gone. When I find a basic that I love for a good price, I always try to grab as many as I can.

Outfit Details: Tunic // Leggings, similar // Boots // Earrings

BP Pocket Tees- When I started writing this post, I could not link these tees because they were completely sold out. They keep selling out, but I guess Nordstrom will get a couple returns back in and add them back onto their site. They only have a few colors and sizes in stock currently, but if they have your size, don't hesitate! Purchase now! These are the softest basic long sleeve tees for $14.49, and my fingers are crossed that they are not gone by the time you click on the link.

However, if you're not the type to make a fast decision and you like to research all your options, I found 4 other options that I think are also really great basic long sleeve tees. BP Side Slit Tee (this is on my wishlist) // Old Navy V-Neck Tee (have and love the short sleeve version) // Madewell Long Sleeve Tee // Softest Long Sleeve V-Neck Tee

As if the lighting wasn't poor enough, the smudges on the mirror brought the picture quality down even further. Sorry y'all! I don't know what was going on with the camera on Parker's phone. However, I did grab some Windex and clean the mirror as soon as I saw how dirty it was in the pictures. (insert embarrassed face emoji)

Cardigans

Leopard Cardigan- I mentioned this the other day in my Investment Pieces post. This was definitely an investment for a cardigan, but I know it is a piece I will have in my closet for years to come! And it is an easy way to add a little something extra to any basic outfit.

IMG_5178.jpg

Free People Cardigan- This is the best, most neutral, goes-with-everything cardigan. Again, the price is a little high but worth it! I had my eye on this cardigan for months, and I told my mom how much I loved it. And y'all- my mom deserves the award for best bargain hunter in the world. She found this $128 cardigan for $69.99 on Rue La La. Sizes are selling out, so shop quickly if you want it! If you don't already have a Rue La La account (it's free), now is the time to get it. Click here to sign up if you don't already have an account. And if you do, click on which color you want- Cream // Green // Blue  Also, you can click here to see the Free People cardigan that 9 fashion bloggers out of 10 currently rant and rave about.

IMG_5176.jpg

Blue Cardigan- This is an item I cannot link because it sold out. It is from Loft. Click here to see my current Loft favorite, and click here to check out the whole selection of pretty cardigans at Loft. They always have good ones.

IMG_5177.jpg

Do you have any specific brands of basic fall tops and cardigans that you have been loving lately? I have been loving my Old Navy and Nordstrom tees. I'd love to hear what you like best! Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!

LIKEtoKNOW.it FAQs

Because LIKEtoKNOW.it can be confusing and because I have received several questions about it, I decided to share some of the most frequently asked questions that I get. For simplicity purposes, I will refer to LIKEtoKNOW.it as LTK throughout this post. Please feel free to comment at the end and ask any questions you have, and I will be happy to answer them and add them to this list because someone else might have your same question! I hope this is helpful!

Pullover (runs big, size down) // Leggings // Slippers

Pullover (runs big, size down) // Leggings // Slippers

***How does LTK work?

I am going to copy and paste the answer to this question directly from LTK's FAQ page because this is a big one, and I do not want to butcher it--- LIKEtoKNOW.it enables you to shop influencer images from Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and across the mobile web. Influencers tag products in their images and LIKEtoKNOW.it delivers the ready-to-shop product details to you via the LIKEtoKNOW.it app and email when you screenshot or 'like' an image on social media or the mobile web. From the LIKEtoKNOW.it iOS app, you are able to discover and curate thousands of ready-to-shop influencer images, daily. To check out more information on their FAQ page, click here.

***How do I sign up for LTK?

LTK is a free app you can download from the app store. You can click here to download it. You will then be walked through a few steps to get the app on your phone and create an account. Like I said, it is totally free.

***What do I do after I get the app?

Your app will appear blank at first. However, after liking or screenshotting my Instagram posts, my pictures will pop up in your LTK app. When you click on them, you will be able to see all of my outfit details. Once you click on these pictures, you will be taken directly to the site where I purchased the linked items. If you follow any other bloggers who post LTK-enabled images, you will see their pictures in the app too, if you like or screenshot their pictures. This is one of my favorite ways to shop!

Also, if my pictures do not pop up immediately, you can always go to the magnifying glass in the bottom right hand corner and type in artfashionfun. Then you will be taken directly to my profile, and all of my images will pop up. There are pictures below to show you what this looks like.

FullSizeRender 27.jpg
FullSizeRender 29.jpg

***What do you mean LTK-enabled photos?

LTK-enabled photos have a black or white symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the photo. This symbol is there to let you know that the photo can be found in the LTK app, and you can shop the details. I do not use LTK for all of the photos I post. For example, yesterday I posted pictures with my grandparents for Grandparents Day. These were pictures from a couple of years ago, and many of the items I am wearing are no longer available, so I could not link up the items for you. So there is no LTK symbol on that photo, and you cannot find it in the LTK app. However, I will be posting a new LTK-enabled photo later today, and you will see that it does have a symbol in the bottom right hand corner to show you it is LTK-enabled! And soon after you like or screenshot it, it will show up in your LTK app!

***Are you working for LTK?

Yes! Well actually LTK is a part of a bigger company called RewardStyle, so I am technically working for RewardStyle. But yes, this was a HUGE milestone for me to reach, and I am still so excited and thankful to be a part of this team.

***Are you getting paid by them? How do you make money?

Yes, I am getting paid by RewardStyle. I am given unique links, and when people shop through these links, I get a small commission off of each item bought. Obviously, the majority of your money goes to the retailer where you are purchasing the item from. However, I do get a small portion of the money spent when you shop through my links.

***Can you tell I just shopped through your link and bought something?

I can see when certain items have been purchased. However, I am never able to see who has shopped through my links. This has been something I have struggled with because I am SO grateful when people shop through my links, and all I want to do is write them thank you notes. This is why I am always asking you to tell me if you buy something. I want to THANK YOU for shopping through my links! A name is never associated with a purchase.

***What if I don't have the LTK app? How can I find out the details of your Instagram pictures?

I created a Shop My Insta page for this exact reason. I know that not everyone wants to download another app on their phone. So I created this page on my blog to make it easy for these people to shop too! You can look at the screenshots I included below to see what the Shop My Insta page looks like. All of my LTK-enabled photos appear on this page as soon as I post them to Instagram. When you go to the Shop My Insta page, you can click on any of the photos and all of the details will pop up. This page is almost identical to my profile on the LTK app.

Click here to go to the Shop My Insta page, and you will see all of the pictures I have posted on Instagram that are LTK-enabled. When you click any of those pictures, you will be able to see all of my outfit details without having to sign up for LTK.

Fun fact- That blanket I linked in the post above has been one of my best selling items. When I say best-selling, I mean that out of all of the items I have linked up, this blanket has been what the most people have purchased. Maybe people stocked up on it for gifts? It was linked up in my 5th LTK-enabled Instagram post, and I'm here to tell you that it is worth every penny. It is extremely soft and is occupied by Parker, Bailey, Rosie, or me 98% of the day.

More Info:

-How LTK came about: Around 5 years ago, a college student was working as a stylist. She was getting paid by the hour, but she wanted a way to monetize all of the links she was sending to her clients. She wanted a commission on everything she sold. So she worked with her boyfriend (now husband) who was an engineer. He helped her create a way to monetize everything she was selling online. Which is how LTK was created.

-How Bloggers Make Money: I actually just learned that little story above a couple weeks ago when reading a blog post that another blogger wrote. I have to give credit to Amanda from The Miller Affect. I summarized the story above of how LTK came about after reading her post called How Bloggers Make Money. I found her article to be interesting because I am so new to this blogging world and still learning new things daily. She also made sure to include a list of blogger expenses, which is not short.

-The Discover Tool: This is the icon in the middle of your LTK app on the very bottom. LTK-enabled pictures that get the most likes and have the highest engagement rates on Instagram will appear in this section. This is how I have found several top tier bloggers who I now love to follow!

-THANK YOU: I have several family members and friends who will message me and ask me to send them links before they do any online shopping because they know it helps me, and I feel like I cannot wrap up this blog post without saying THANK YOU so much for being so thoughtful! I know that it is an extra step to include me in your online shopping experience, but I am forever grateful!

I hope this post helps clarify LIKEtoKNOW.it a little bit. Like I said, I am still learning new things daily, so if I missed something, please feel free to reach out and ask! I know some bloggers don't talk freely about this topic, but I am happy to do so! Again, you can click here to download the LTK app and click here to check out my Shop My Insta page. Thanks so much for reading and shopping through my links! Have a great day!
