Must-Have Wedges for Spring

Before I started blogging, I noticed all of my favorite fashion bloggers wearing the wedges I am sharing with you today. I have loved them since I first saw them on these girls. They are classic wedges that can be worn with basically any spring and summer outfit.

What I was not aware of before Ebie gave them to me for Christmas (best gift ever!) was just how comfortable they are. I am a sissy when it comes to tall shoes. I rarely ever wear heels. These wedges appear to be tall, but they are actually very comfortable!

I have heard other girls suggest buying these Marc Fisher wedges early because they sell out fast! I've always been confused by this- why would spring shoes sell out before spring even begins? I've learned it is because they are that good. And these girls were right- they are already selling out.

DUPES!

Do you know what a dupe is? I have heard several people lately ask what a dupe is. Dupe is a shortened form of duplicate... so these Steve Madden wedges I'm about to share with you are a (much less expensive) dupe of the Marc Fisher wedges I just talked about.

My mom got me these dupes a couple of months ago! They are significantly less than half the price of the Marc Fisher wedges, and they are basically identical! And SO comfortable! But again, selling out quickly.

They are such a classic pair of shoes that go with basically any spring outfit!

DUPE #2

If your size is sold out, or if you want a more affordable option, I have found ANOTHER dupe! I actually tried these on yesterday, and the quality is not as nice as the other two pairs I have shared. I guess that should be expected since they are only $32.99, but they look so similar to the Marc Fisher and Steve Madden wedges! And they're very comfortable too. I did size down half a size in these shoes. One last thing- if you add something else to your cart for $2-3 and get your order up to $35, then you can get free 2 day shipping!

February Favorites

I found a few things this month that I absolutely love. Some of them are so affordable that I had to buy multiple colors! Spring is my favorite season and spring clothes are my favorite clothes! I hope you love my February favorites as much as I do!

Favorite Dress- When I tried this dress on, I loved it so much that I had to get both colors! I bought an identical dress (but white) from Anthropologie last year, and it was $118. This dress is $24.99. It is such a steal, so I had to get the blue and dark gray. The ruffle sleeves are adorable! It does run big though. I sized down to a small.

Favorite Top- My mom actually got this tee for me a few months ago. I've loved it ever since she gave it to me because of how soft it is. And because of the length. However, it has been especially great to wear this month. Our weather has been so strange, and this tee has been the best layering tee. It's perfect to wear under cardigans and jackets when it's cooler out (because the sleeves are more fitted), but it's also not too hot when we have a warmer day!

Favorite Bottoms- I have been loving all of the scalloped details I've seen this season. When I saw these shorts, I had to get them! You can click here to check them out in solid colors. I tried on solid white and black pairs and thought they were adorable too! And the best part is that they are on major sale! They were originally $54.50, marked down to $27, plus an additional 20% off with code CANTSTOP. So they are currently $21.60!! I sized up to make them a little looser.

Favorite Shoes- Ebie got me these Marc Fisher wedges for Christmas, and they are going to be my uniform all spring and summer. They are an investment, but I know I will get tons of use out of them! I will have more about these must have wedges coming up in a blog post soon!

Favorite Accessory- I got my first pair of Lisi Lerch earrings for Valentine's Day, and I am in LOVE! They are so fun and make such a statement! They are really big, but they are lightweight. I wore them in Birmingham on Saturday, so I had them on for 8ish hours, and they were comfortable. My exact color is no longer available. Spring Break Guide: Coverups and Swimsuits

A friend texted me last week and asked me to write a blog post on swimsuits and coverups for spring break. More specifically, she requested modest and affordable options. Challenge accepted! This task has been so much fun because these are 2 of my favorite things to shop for!

Modesty is a must for me. I have seen quite a few cheeky options this year, and that is just simply not my style. So everything I am sharing is modest.

However, while researching swimsuits, I realized that affordable is hard for swimsuits. Typically when shopping, I try to purchase affordable items with an occasional splurge. I think my philosophy is a little different with swimsuits. Because swimsuits are so revealing, I typically choose to invest in a few well made pieces each year. And then I'll add in some more affordable items as I find the very best affordable pieces. You can click on any of the items in the picture below to see some of my finds! 2 of the bathing suits are $35. Can you guess which ones??

Over the past few years, my favorite swimsuit brands have been Gianni Bini, Cremieux, Kenneth Cole Reaction, and Antonio Melani. All of these brands are sold at Dillard's. My favorite coverups have come from Anthropologie, Dillard's, J.Crew, Lilly Pulitzer, and Target.

Today I'm sharing swimsuits and coverups from a variety of places with different price points. There are a LOT of options. I have made it so that you can see the price and retailer. That way you don't have to click on every single picture to figure out that important info. But keep in mind- several of these swimsuits and coverups might have a different sale price once you click on them and get to the retailer's website!

Something that makes me so happy is getting requests from people who read my blog! A Pretty Pink Dress for Any Spring Event

Wedding festivities are kicking off for Ebie today, and I am so excited to be home to celebrate her! Ebie and several of my close friends are getting married this spring and summer, so I've got cute springy dresses on my mind! You are probably aware if you read my post on Tuesday... all about my favorite dresses out right now!

But there's one dress that I did not include in that post because I'm devoting a whole blog post to it today! I have actually shared this dress before when I wore it to a friend's wedding last summer. However, I'm sharing it again today because it is such a fabulous option for any event this spring!

Outfit Details

The vibrant color, tie sleeves, and classiness of this dress are some of my favorite parts. It is one of those dresses I'm so thankful to have in my closet because the style makes it perfect to wear for so many different reasons. It's conservative but also bright and fun!

Old Navy Dressing Room Diaries

I used to share weekly try on sessions... it has been way too long since I have consistently shared these. Last week, I shared my finds from Loft here. Today, I'm sharing my latest finds from Old Navy. They have lots of cute new spring arrivals and so many of them are fabulous prices! An up to 50% off sale actually started today!

When I went to Old Navy, most of the things I tried on were not on sale. I will never pay full price for anything at Old Navy, so I will be purchasing several of these things soon! The dresses were my favorite and will be so cute this spring and summer! If you are in between sizes, size down. I found all of the dresses to run a little big.

However, if you purchase one thing from Old Navy, I highly suggest these white jeans. I have several different pairs of white jeans made by various different stores and designers. These Rockstar jeans are the least expensive of all of the pairs I own, and they are the pair that I wear most often. They are so comfortable and flattering!
