5 Organization Tips for Your Kitchen

I'm switching things up today and sharing 5 organization tips for your kitchen. Organizing spaces is one of my favorite things to do. Cleaning, not so much. But I truly love to organize. My mom just asked me to help her organize and clean out her closet when I go home in a couple of days, and I cannot wait to help with this! Check out my organization tips below and please comment if you have any other organization tips that I need to know about!

Cookie jar for your dishwasher pods- I have a whole post dedicated to this brand coming later this month, but for today's post, I'm going to say that you can't use a cookie jar to hold your dishwasher pods! We had tons of storage in our old kitchen, and since we moved to Southaven, we've had to get crafty because we have a lot less storage space. Throwing dishwasher pods into a cookie jar frees up space that the dishwasher pod container would take up and it is aesthetically pleasing. Win win!

Organizers for your drawers- At our old house, Parker and I just threw all of our cooking tools in a drawer. When we moved here, I wanted to change that, so we found some acrylic drawer organizers. I'm here to tell you they are life changing. For someone who loves organization, having our kitchen items sorted and organized (and clean) brings me great joy!

Utensil crock- My friend Sarah gave us this for a wedding gift, and I don't know how I lived without one before. The Juliska website calls it "simply chic housing for your spatulas and spoons." I love how they worded that. Ours sits out on our counter at all times holding spatulas and other utensils. However, it can also be used as a vase or wine cooler, and it's oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. Ours was a gift, so it's more than I would have spent, but I'm so grateful to have it! You can find some other options at lower price points here, here, and here.

Coupon organizer and folder- My sister got me this coupon organizer for Christmas last year because she knows about my love for organization. :) So I keep all of my coupons for the grocery store in the small coupon organizer that Ebie got me. And I bought a bright pink folder recently to keep all of our menus and restaurant coupons that don't fit in the smaller coupon organizer. The blue binder below holds all of the instruction manuals to our kitchen appliances. This small corner of our kitchen may not look as neat and tidy as I would like it to, but it's definitely better than having a cluttered area with coupons scattered everywhere.

Folder for addresses- When Parker and I got married, we had to collect lots of addresses. So I made a Word document to keep up with all of them, and then I created a folder for them. There's a section for my friends, Parker's friends, my family's friends, and Parker's family's friends. I also made one of these for my mom and Parker's mom. This hard copy is so convenient and comes in handy frequently!

Do you have any organization tips for the kitchen?! I'd love to hear! Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!
