3 Pairs of Leggings Every Girl Will Want in Her Closet this Fall

It is no secret that leggings and a tunic/oversized sweater make up my favorite fall outfit. I am a dress girl during summer and spring, but I turn into a total leggings girl when cooler weather hits. I always have been and now that I am 7 months pregnant, I am dying for cooler weather to get here for good, so I can wear my comfortable fall uniform (leggings and a tunic/oversized sweater) daily!

Now, let’s get into my 3 must-have pairs of leggings!

1. Zella Live In High Waist Leggings- If you have read my posts for a while now, I bet you could have easily guessed these would be at the top of my list. I bought my first pair during the Nordstrom sale 2 year ago, and they are the only black leggings I have worn since. I think it is the material and the high waist that I like best. The material makes them perfect for everyday wear or even for working out.

Since my first pair, I have gotten another identical pair, a cropped pair (that is currently sold out- I’m sorry!), and 2 pairs of Zella maternity leggings (in medium and large). I’m telling you- I love them!

The maternity pair is new this year, and they keep selling out, but Nordstrom will add a size or two to their site when they become available. As of last night, medium was in stock! Lots of people have asked me about maternity leggings, and these are my only suggestion. I just hate that they are always sold out! For size reference though, I have been wearing my size medium since I got them. I will probably switch to the large in my last month of pregnancy, so I would say your usual size should fit for the majority of pregnancy.

Facetune_17-09-2018-14-14-01.jpg

2. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings- If you’re looking for a fun and flattering pair of leggings, these are the ones you need! They are made by Spanx, so they suck you in and make your legs look fab! They do run small. I suggest sizing up one size from your regular size if you are not pregnant and size up 2 sizes if you are pregnant. Mine are size large and they fit comfortably when I am not pregnant and definitely do not currently fit comfortably while I am pregnant.

IMG_1233.jpg

3. Moto Leggings- I got these during the Nordstrom sale last year, and I was so excited to see they brought them back again this fall! They come in olive and black, and I have olive. These are the most affordable option of the 3 I am sharing today. Because mine are from last year, they are slightly different. It looks like they took away one seam in this year’s version, but that’s it. They are high waisted and still actually fit comfortably with a bump! They are a little long on me, so I just folded the bottom under.

What are your favorite leggings? My mom was just telling me about this pair of leggings from J.Crew. They’re currently on sale, but I haven’t tried them yet so I don’t know how they fit. I can 100% recommend the other 3 pairs I shared today though! Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!

September Favorites

I didn’t have enough things to write about in this type of monthly blog post for months because I was trying to wear what I had in my closet, and I wasn’t buying new things. When I went to a friend’s shower over Labor Day weekend, I was surprised to find that barely anything in my closet fit me anymore. As in, I had to try on more than a handful of dresses before I found one that fit.

I just hit 28 weeks today, which means I am now in my third trimester- I shouldn’t have been surprised by the fact that my clothes didn’t fit anymore, but it was still pretty shocking. After that rude awakening, I decided that I was due for some serious shopping. So I’m excited to share the things that I have purchased this month.

The only maternity items I have purchased are jeans and leggings, so everything else I am sharing is non maternity FYI. And I’m also sharing the 5 most purchased items from my blog after I share my personal favorites!

September Favorites

*Lou & Grey SignatureSoft Top- This is the softest and most comfortable top I own. I have worn it 4 times since I got it a week and a half ago. It runs true to size- I am normally a medium and sized up to large for pregnancy.

18B82B02-1C76-4B3F-B5B4-5DAC56FC3605.jpg

*Pink Tunic & Gold Earrings- My favorite outfit to wear in the fall includes a tunic or oversized sweater and leggings. This tunic is perfect for now because it is lightweight and can be worn while it is still so warm outside, and it will be a great layering top to wear as it cools down. And I thought the earrings would add a little something extra to any outfit. I love them!

Facetune_30-09-2018-11-11-21.jpg

*Speckeld Sweater- This sweater sold out unbelievably fast. This color is already gone, so I linked the same sweater in navy. It runs true to size. I sized up one size from my usual medium to a large.

Facetune_23-09-2018-18-38-05 2.JPG

*Boyfriend Sweatshirt- I live in this at home. When I say that, I mean that I wear it more than 2 or 3 days a week. It is so comfortable and the perfect length to wear with leggings.

A5910516-A315-43B6-8BBA-B76BF79170C4.JPG

*Maternity Jeans- These jeans are life-changing. Everybody who is expecting needs to do themselves a favor and purchase these ASAP! They are super affordable for maternity jeans and the most comfortable pair out there! I wear the same size in the maternity pair as I did in the nonmaternity pair I wore before pregnancy. The nonmaternity pair is amazing for people who are not expecting. They are my mom’s favorite jeans. You can click here for the non maternity style.

Facetune_17-09-2018-13-45-04.jpg

*Ruffle Trim Ponte Knit Dress- I have learned that when things are ponte-knit, I want them. This dress is so comfortable and cute! The ruffles on the shoulders are my favorite part. It is also a great length and runs true to size. I sized up one size from my usual medium to a large for pregnancy.

*Suede Shearling Slippers- I wear these Ugg dupes every single day. They are so soft, comfortable, and affordable! I heard that I should size up in these, so I did. I am always a size 9, and I actually sized up to a 10 because they only come in whole sizes. The 10s fit perfectly. If you’re starting to think about Christmas gifts, these make the best gift!

IMG_3144.jpg

DIFF Sunglasses- My mom gave me these, and I always get questions about them when I wear them on my Instastories! They are so fun!

Shopbop’s big event of the season started yesterday, and it is the perfect time to stock up on some fall essentials! Cute and Cozy Sweaters for Fall

The first day of fall was Saturday, and we surprisingly had very nice fall-like weather to go along with it! It got me really excited to pull out all of my boots and booties and add a few new sweaters to my wardrobe!

I have been on a major cleanout/organization kick because I’ve got to get my office cleaned out. We are turning my office into our nursery, so I have been trying hard to minimize. I have too much stuff. Parker is so good at getting rid of things he knows he will never use again, and I am not. However, I’m seriously working on it, especially in the closet department. I’ve got to get rid of some clothes to make room for baby boy’s precious tiny clothes!

With all that said, I have pulled out quite a few things to get rid of and also found some closet staples that I will most definitely be keeping. Some of the sweaters I’m for sure keeping were actually brought back this year, so they are included in today’s sweater roundup! Ok, let’s get into the season’s cutest sweaters!

5 of My Favorite Sweaters

  1. Pink Free People Sweater- I got this last year, and I believe it is my favorite sweater of all time! I adore every single thing about it. The length, the neckline, the color, the material. It is back this year in 6 colors. This exact shade of pink is not one of them, but there are lots of great options! Other Outfit Details: Spanx Faux Leather Leggings

B03F6CB7-FF34-40E5-A111-F1D4DBFECB07 2.JPG

2. Turtleneck Sweater- Again, I got this sweater last year, but it is back this year in new colors. It is a great alternative to the pink sweater above with a much lower price! Other Outfit Details: Leggings | Boots

D9C2082D-8C68-4B4C-9BF6-FE73E51D0537 3.JPG

3. Cowl Neck Sweater- I actually got this closet staple several years ago, but it gets brought back every year because people love it so much! Free People makes my favorite sweaters, and I have this one in 2 colors. Other Outfit Details: Spanx Faux Leather Leggings | Boots

IMG_6065.jpg

4. Rainbow Speckled Sweater- This sweater is obviously from this year and about to be worn on repeat because it is so roomy and comfortable to wear with my bump! However, it is not maternity. I just sized up one size to make sure it was oversized, so I could wear it all fall and winter. Other Outfit Details: Leggings | Boots

Facetune_23-09-2018-18-38-05 2.JPG

5. Signaturesoft Sweater- I went on and on about this sweater in Sunday’s blog post… when Lou & Grey makes something that is signaturesoft, I NEED it! It is the most comfortable material ever. This is another sweater I will be living in over the next few months! Other Outfit Details: maternity jeans | wedges | earrings

Weekend Sale Shopping: Anthropologie and Loft

Y’all know I’m not a frequent Sunday blog publisher, but I get them up when I feel like time sensitive matters need to be discussed. The shopping I did at Anthropologie and Loft this weekend needs to be discussed before the sales end, so here is a rare Sunday blog post!

I went to Memphis Friday because Anthropologie is offering 20% off and Loft is offering 40% off. The sales were even better than I expected! I’m trying not to do too much shopping while pregnant because I am having to buy sizes that are not my typical size, but I obviously need some things to wear this fall and winter! When I saw the emails sharing these 2 sales, I knew it was the perfect time to stock up!

Anthropologie- 20% off Clothing & Home

You have to be a part of Anthro Perks to get 20% off. It is as simple as giving them your email address and a little info about yourself. They will send you emails from time to time, but I don’t find it to be an excessive amount at all. It is not a credit card or anything like that. You don’t have to enter any billing info when signing up. If you are not already part of Anthro Perks, you can click here to sign up.

Now I’ll show you the 2 items I tried on, 2 items they brought back from last year, and a few more of my favorites below that. I had a gift card, so I also purchased these earrings. You are about to see them on repeat! They are the perfect size- not too big or too small.

Ribbed Tunic- I have had my eye on this tunic for months. It is a good price for Anthropologie and comes in 5 colors. I got it in pink, and my mom had it in blue and added the pink one to her collection while it’s on sale. I’d say it runs true to size. My mom stuck with her usual size, and I sized up one for the bump. The length makes it perfect to wear with leggings or skinny jeans.

Facetune_22-09-2018-21-04-28.JPG
Facetune_22-09-2018-21-05-19.JPG

Amrita Tunic- This was the other sweater I tried on. I did not purchase it because the slits in the sides do not lay right with my bump. If you are not pregnant, they should go where they are supposed to- on the sides. It is really soft and comes in 4 colors!

Facetune_22-09-2018-21-05-53.JPG

Leopard Cardi- I cannot tell you how excited I was to see that they brought this cardi back this year! I bought mine last year, and the print of this year’s version is a little more subtle than mine. But it is the same cardigan- definitely an investment, but it sells out fast! I shared it one time last year before it sold out, and it is already sold out this year in large. It is pricy, but if you like it, I suggest grabbing it now while it’s 20% off because it will sell out quickly again this year! It does run true to size. I got my regular size medium last year.

IMG_8672 2.JPG

Bell-Sleeved Tunic- This is also a picture from last year, but this adorable “tunic” is back this year too. I’m not sure why they call it a tunic. It is definitely a dress on me. This year’s neckline is slightly different, but it looks very similar aside from that. It comes in 4 colors and would also look cute with leggings and boots or booties this fall!

IMG_4170.JPG

More of my favorites:

Loft- 40% off your purchase

I had not been to Loft in forever and found quite a few things that I absolutely loved! Use code NEWNOW to get 40% off your entire purchase.

Speckle Sweater- As soon as I saw this, I knew I had to have it. I had it in the turtleneck version last year and love the adorable rainbow speckles! As you can tell in the picture, they are not over the top, but just little speckles of color that are so cute! It also comes in navy if that’s more your style. I sized up one size for pregnancy, but I’d go with my regular size if I did not have a bump.

Facetune_22-09-2018-21-06-43.JPG

Speckled Poncho Sweater- Another item that comes in speckles, and it is also precious! These speckles are not rainbow colored though. They looked either black or navy to me. There is a lot of fabric on the sides because it is a poncho. I like my sweaters to be oversized, so I’d say stick with your usual size and it will still be plenty roomy.

Facetune_22-09-2018-21-07-39.JPG

Signaturesoft Cowl Neck Top- Anything in Lou & Grey’s signaturesoft collection is a winner in my book. It is truly the softest material in my closet. I purchased this top and got Parker to touch it when I got home. He said he wishes all of his clothes were made out of this material. The website says that it feels like the most luxurious cashmere combined with your favorite sweatshirt. It really is the softest! I sized up one size for pregnancy.

Facetune_22-09-2018-21-08-29.JPG

Signaturesoft Tunic Top- Another item from Lou & Grey’s signaturesoft collection… need I say more?! But really- the color is gorgeous, and it is such a great layering piece for fall. It is currently a steal too and comes in 5 colors!

15 Recent Purchases

I typically write monthly favorites posts to round up my favorite purchases from the month. However, I have not done one of these in a few months because I honestly have not been buying a lot of new clothes. I’ve been trying to wear what’s in my closet and only buy items that I need for pregnancy. I hit 26 weeks Tuesday, so obviously quite a bit of my old clothes do not fit anymore. So I have placed a few orders recently, and I’m happy to share my purchases with you today!

You can click on any of the items below in the collage, and you will be taken directly to the site where you can purchase the item. And FYI- the only things that are maternity in this post are the jeans.

Free People Buttondown- Free People makes my favorite plaid tops! This one is so comfortable, has the cutest ties on the sides, and is the perfect length to wear with leggings! It definitely runs big. I suggest sizing down, and you will still get an oversized fit.

Textured Tunic Sweater- I ordered this and it still hasn’t come in. But I clearly love things that are long enough to wear with leggings, and this looks like it will be perfect for that! It comes in several other colors too.

Teal Ribbed Tunic- I now own this same tunic in 11 various colors. I have been buying them for several years now and continue purchasing them because they are my daily uniform. They are so comfortable and easy to throw on with a pair of leggings and feel somewhat put together!

Golden Plush-Knit Swing Dress- I have learned that I want anything and everything made out of this material. It is beyond soft! And I know this dress will be one of those items in my closet I continuously reach for this fall and winter. It is a great length for work and church too.

PJ Harlow Knit Robe- My mom got this for me, and I am so grateful! I plan on wearing it in the hospital when we have our baby. PJ Harlow makes my favorite pj pants, and this robe is just as amazing! It comes in 5 colors.

Black Ruffle Trim Dress- This may be my favorite of all my newest purchases! It will definitely be worn on repeat. The ruffles on the sleeves give it such a fun spin on a classic little black dress! And the material is stretchy and comfortable.

DIFF Sunglasses- I have always wanted a pair of DIFF sunglasses, and I could not love these more! I love the tortoise frames and pink polarized lens!

Jade Roller- Something that has been so swollen lately is my face… I put this jade roller in the freezer and massage my face with it. Not only does it feel so good, but it is supposed to reduce puffiness and inflammation of the skin, help relax the nervous system, aid in the removal of toxins, among many other things!

Suede Shearling Slippers- I wore out my Ugg slippers and was wanting a new pair without paying the Ugg price. I can honesty say that these are just as amazing as my Uggs for a much, much lower price! They would make the best Christmas gift! If you’re in between sizes, size up.

Flower Stud Resin Earrings- I had been wanting and watching these for a long time. They are on sale through tomorrow for 25% off, so I ordered them!

Tortoise Hoop Earrings- These are also 25% off through tomorrow, and hoop earrings are my favorite kind to wear! I haven’t bought new statement earrings in a while, so I purchased these too and can’t wait for them to come in!

Hester Wedges- I now have these in pewter and nude. I wrote an entire blog post on them Tuesday, so you can click here to check that out!

Maternity Rockstar 24/7 Jeggings- These are the most comfortable maternity jeans I could ever imagine putting on my body. They are beyond comfortable and feel like leggings!

Maternity Rockstar Jeans- I also purchased these maternity jeans. The pair I mentioned above is more like a jegging/legging material, and these are more like an actual pair of jeans. The other pair is more comfortable, but I love these too! I really like the low panel.

I forgot to include a picture of this tunic sweatshirt in the collage, but I can’t keep it out of today’s post! It is definitely one of my favorite items I have purchased recently. I put it on as soon as I took it out of the package, and even Parker said whoa you are never going to take that off. It is perfect to wear with leggings, and it is what I actually live in at home! I sized up one size for the bump.

Is there anything you have purchased lately that you love and think I should know about? Please share! Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!

The Best Fall Wedges for Under $40

Today I am sharing the wedges that I will be living in for the next few months. I got one style last year (in 2 colors) and one style this year (in 2 colors), and they are both beyond comfortable and affordable! And they both come in several colors and go with basically any fall outfit.

I have to give credit to my mom’s friend, Mrs. Ashley, because she discovered both of these fabulous pairs of shoes! I get asked about my hoop earrings all the time, and they actually came from her! You can click here to check out her jewelry website.

Onto the shoes!

I shared this pair of shoes last year (you can click here to see the blog post), and I think it’s pretty safe to say that more people have purchased this pair of shoes from my links than any other item I have ever shared. Every single one of the reviews people have sent me are nothing short of stellar. And understandably so.

A teacher friend told me she purchased them and was able to wear them comfortably the entire school day. I was able to wear them for an entire day of shopping in Memphis- they are so easy to take off and put back on! They are not too tall but not too short, so they are the perfect height for day to day or a night out!

They are also so soft and lightweight that they make you feel like you’re walking on clouds. In all honesty, it takes my feet a while to get used to wearing boots and booties again once the weather cools down. I never have this problem with these shoes. They are that comfortable! And they run true to size- I have them in my normal size 9 in taupe and black.

This is the pair that I got this year, and they are already selling out in select colors. I always feel so bad when I share something that is selling out, but I thought I should go ahead and share now before they are completely gone! The color I have is called pewter, but they come in several other colors. My mom actually bought the nude color for me yesterday!

Just like the other wedges, these are beyond comfortable and the perfect height! They also run true to size- I have my normal size 9. It looks like all of the colors they come in would be great versatile options that could be worn with countless outfits this fall!

I clearly love these shoes, and I love when I get to share super affordable options with you! Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!

25 Week Bumpdate

I am officially 25 weeks, and pregnancy is definitely feeling real! The bump is here, I’m feeling our baby move, and we are just over 3 months away from meeting this little baby boy! This is a long post today because I tried to update this weekly, so I would remember everything that happened from each week. Here we go!

21 Weeks- 25 Weeks

  • Due Date: December 25, 2018

  • Baby is the size of a: cauliflower (25 weeks), cantaloupe (24 weeks), grapefruit (23 weeks), coconut (22 weeks), endive (21 weeks)- all of this info came from The Bump app

  • Total weight gain: 18 lbs since before baby (What to Expect When You're Expecting suggests gaining 2-4 lbs in the first trimester and 1-1.5 pounds per week in the second trimester.) I'm still on track, but that sounds like a lot! And my doctor said that this month the baby and I will start growing a lot more. The baby is gaining about 6 ounces a week now, which is a huge jump from what it was before.

  • The bump: It is without a doubt there now. Around week 23, Parker made a comment that he could actually tell I had a bump for the first time.

  • Symptoms: No more nausea since week 20, except when I had to drink my glucose drink (more on that below in week 24). Insomnia once I got off my nausea meds. My hips and back started aching. Super vivid dreams. Frequent hunger. Having to go to the bathroom 4 million times during the middle of the night. TMI? Sorry! Wanting to organize/prepare like crazy for baby- my mom told me I was nesting. :)

  • Food cravings: fruit, Gatorade Zero, everything from Chickfila, a slice of cake (thanks commercials- Parker bought me cupcakes and that did the trick)

  • Food aversions: still going strong with the same aversions I’ve had basically the whole time- grilled seafood, grilled chicken, vegetables with a slimy texture (like zucchini), but I’ve also added hot dogs to the list

  • Sleep: Great until I went off my nausea meds. I think my body got dependent on them, so when I stopped taking them, it took about a week to start being able to sleep through the night. There were nights when I would be up from 2-5 AM. NOT fun.

  • What I miss: comfortably bending over to put my shoes on and shave my legs.

  • Movement: I finally started feeling movement consistently around 22 weeks! I felt random little flutters from time to time before that, but I wasn’t positive of what exactly it was until around 22 weeks. Then it started happening every time I got in bed to go to sleep and whenever I sat down on the sofa to watch tv.

  • Maternity clothes: these Zella maternity leggings and OMG I just got these maternity jeans and these maternity jeans in the mail Tuesday, and they are life changing! Quite a few of my regular clothes do not fit anymore, so I’m excited about pulling out my oversized sweaters and tops to wear with my maternity leggings and jeans once we get some cooler weather.

  • What we are most looking forward to: our 3D/4D ultrasound happening at 28 weeks! The doctor said the point of it is to get really cute baby pictures! He said to bring a CD-R if we want to save all of them, so obviously Parker and I went and bought a 10 pack immediately!

  • Apps I've used: Ovia Pregnancy, The Bump, and Glow Nurture. I also used Sprout until 23 weeks when it stopped allowing me to use the free version.

  • Products I've been loving: my Snoogle pregnancy pillow (helps SO much with the achy back and hips when I’m trying to sleep), leggings and sweatshirts (specifically this one), these super comfy slippers that I just got in the mail (if in between sizes, size up), pills for nausea until 24 weeks when I switched to pills for reflux, What to Expect When You're Expecting, I have purchased this cream to prevent stretch marks, but I haven’t used it yet

  • Purchases for baby: I now have a page on my blog under Shop My Favorites called Favorite Baby Items, and that is where I’m sharing the things we have purchased and received so far for our baby! We have received some super sweet gifts, like onesies, swaddles, bubbles, socks, hats, blankets, burp cloths, etc!

Weekly Fun

Week 21- I definitely started showing more in my clothes this week! And my hips started hurting so badly, especially while in bed going to sleep and while in the car on road trips. I had no clue this was a thing. However, What to Expect When You’re Expecting saved the day again. It informed me that it’s technically called round ligament pain, and most expectant moms experience it. I bought this Snoogle pregnancy pillow, and it has been life changing! It allows me to sleep with no pain! And it helps me stay on my sides instead of my back, which I learned you are not supposed to do during pregnancy.

Week 22- I am finally for sure feeling movement! I think I have felt a few little kicks before this week, but I wasn’t sure what they were. Now, every time I get in bed at night, I feel all kinds of moving going on in there! This also happens throughout the day when I sit down for a few minutes. I came home to Mobile this week for an annual dermatologist appointment (everything was good!) and some fam time! Loved meeting Ebie’s puppy Sophie! I’m definitely hoping Bailey and Rosie do better with a baby than they did with a puppy though... My mom stocked us up on some adorable baby things, Ebie gave us a couple thoughtful gifts she got from the N Sale, and Gr’Ann made our baby boy a blanket- she crocheted the edges. So special!

Week 23- This was the first time Parker said he could actually tell I was showing. The bump is definitely here now. Further proof- We went to our friends’ couples shower over the weekend and I tried on somewhere around 5-7 dresses before I found one that fit. Fortunately, I was able to take advantage of some Labor Day sales and stock up on a few items that actually fit! One con- I have to go to the bathroom all day every day and all night every night. Annoying.

Week 24- Had to take my glucose test. I had heard about how awful the drink tastes, but I hadn’t heard about how it makes you feel. The taste certainly wasn’t good, but it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. I had fruit punch, and it was sort of like a sweeter gatorade with a cough syrupy consistency. The worst part was that about 10 minutes after taking it, I got really jittery, lightheaded, and nauseous. I am beyond thankful that Parker was driving me to my doctor’s appointment because it took all I had to concentrate on not getting sick on the way over there. Once we got there, the bad feeling had mostly subsided. I asked my doctor if it was normal to feel that way, and he said yes- your body isn’t used to chugging that much sugar in such a short period of time. So I’m glad to know that was normal, but it still was definitely not a good feeling. They took my vitals, got my bloodwork, and then we got to talk to the doctor (the best part, we LOVE him!). We were able to hear the baby’s heartbeat with a doppler, and it was in the 130s. That is always so surreal and exciting! He also told me I did not need to take the nausea meds I was taking anymore because that medicine was more for the first trimester. Nausea in the second trimester is typically caused by reflux, so he switched me to Nexium.

Week 25- Week 24 was such a long update, and I don’t have much for this week so far haha. Week 25 just started on Tuesday, and there's not much to report. Aside from the fact that my maternity jeans came in, and I LOVE them! And after a long week with very little sleep (caused by coming off of the first trimester nausea meds), I am finally sleeping through the night again!

Lilly Sale Day 2: Thoughts, What I Purchased, & What's Still in Stock

Y’all, I have never been so happy with a Lilly sale! It was the first time in Lilly sale history that their site hasn’t crashed on opening day! Go Lilly go! The variety of items they included in the sale was also amazing, and I got everything I put in my cart!

I published my blog post a little bit earlier yesterday than I typically do, so that we could be sure to click on that link and get our spot in line! So as soon as my post went live at 6:00, I shared it on Facebook and clicked the link to be taken to the virtual line. Once 7:00 hit, I was told my wait time was less than 1 minute on my laptop and 13 minutes on my phone. I clearly used my laptop!

Not only did the technology behind the sale and the great variety of items included in the sale work for me, but I also appreciated a change they made during this sale. For the first time ever, Lilly released all of the items included in the sale at one time. They usually continue to release new items over the course of the 3 day sale. But this time, they included all of the items in the sale as soon as it went live.

I think this helped items to stay in stock longer, and it made me personally not go crazy. I didn't (and don’t) have to worry about psychotically checking to see if new items were added because there will be no new releases. I love the things I got, and I don’t have to worry about something better coming along and stealing all of my money.

And speaking of money, Capital One sent Parker a text message asking him to confirm my Lilly purchase… he was well aware I was shopping the sale, but they went ahead and told him every cent I spent. This was not the first Lilly sale where this has happened. Capital One should know by now that there will be a Lilly charge twice a year, right?! This sale is too amazing to pass up!

What I Purchased

My mom and I both adored the silk dresses we purchased during the last Lilly sale, so we both knew that we wanted another silk dress if there was one included this time around. The dress of my dreams was included! And it is a totally reasonable price for the quality of the dress. We both purchased this dress, and we also both got the silk top version of the dress.

I also mentioned in a previous post that I would be on the lookout for comfy Lilly dresses. I have been living in them this summer while pregnant, and I absolutely love them while not pregnant too. They are so comfortable and easy to throw on and go, so I purchased 3 more to add to my collection!

What’s Still in Stock
